god.. what i way to wake up.
Alexandra was at my mothers house so i figured i could have a nice sleep.. and sleep in till whenever i felt like it. Well i woke up to one hell of an alarm system, Fire alarm to be exact. Now you are all probably thinking ah probably just some kid pulling a prank in the building, Well i hoped so too. But when i looked out my window and seen smoke i went nuts. I could hear people yelling at other people to get the hell out franticly. Now i dont know if you know but I once had the scare of a fire in my old apt building and was not ready for it, so this time i thought i was ready. Well ... i wasnt as much :P
I grabbed my carrier and started searching for the cats. (two kittens are staying with me for a extra week) Shadow being the scaredy cat she is went to go hide so i grabbed her first along with the kittens. She somehow got out of the cage freeing the other kittens while i grabbed kissy. This happened like 2-3 times before i could start tasting the smoke and said well shadow i guess your fucked. I went out into the hall and noticed that there was no smoke on my floor yet, so i went back in just one last time for shadow.
I finally caught her and turned the cage up so no one could get out this time (probably letting kissy squish the kittens for a sec) and got the hell out of there. Now i dont know if any of you have ever carried one cage with 4 cats down 6 flights of stairs.. but its quite the task. Once i get outside i call my mom to tell her to take her time coming over because she wont be able to get into the apt to pack up anyways. Then i decide to try and survey whats all going on, turns out it was just a fire 4 floors under me. I probably could of stayed safely in my apt but i think i would of gone mad if i did.
Anyways after about a hour of being stuck outside, my cats and I are all safe lol and finally back in the apt. I swear my building must think im the crazy cat lady standing outside with a carrier full of cats and no one else with me LOL. I think i might go back to sleep and start this day over. |

ok soo i havent updated in a while. But cynthia (if i didnt spell it right please correct me :P) has told me if i dont start posting im fired ;) So she made me scrub the walls as punishment and i have to do the floors tomorrow if i dont write asap (bahaha kidding.. well it being a punishment and firing part.
So lets see update on myself. Im still single, but it works for me... Much easier to know whats going on and deal with things this way. Im working now, its a pretty easy job but it keeps busy and i swear the store is a sitcom lol.
My mom was staying with me for a bit but shes moving out soon. Now its been nice having her here but i really am excited about having my own space back and the ability to walk around in my boyshorts.
I have had two kittens staying with me (my sisters) so once my mom moves into her apt they are going to stay here for a week after then go along to. They are soo cute but they seem to like to play at 4 am.
I really want to get some time to work on some drawings.. perhaps tomorrow.
My ankle is killing me again BAH i will have to stay off it tomorrow for a while. |

So basically time has been flying by.. in 9 days it will be alexandras birthday, its coming so soon! My little one will be 5 years old shes growing up far to fast. I find it interesting on how when she gains a year i dont feel old.. just young :P all the way until april when i finally catch up LOL. its odd saying im 22 and shes 5 but i wouldnt change it for anything

I love you alexandra and your growing up too fast please slow down soon!:P You always ask "mommy was i a good girl today" to help make being a mommy easier, Being a mother does have its hard times but a simple smile from you is all i need. Your still my girl no matter how big you get! and no your not old enough to walk without holding my hand to cross the street :P Times may be tough for the two of us, but you know your mommy is always there for you and always will be. We will make it through we are both very tough girls. Sometimes mommy might be busy with work or school but i will always make sure to spend sometime with you. Love you my sweetie

So im all moved, just have to do a bit more unpacking. Phone still isnt hooked up yet because the adapter for the linksys system was lost in the move GRRR. So tonight im gonna have to go find another one.
I LOVE MY APT! :P its the perfect fit, is quite spacious and its on the 6th floor, i have an AMAZING VIEW! As i sit here now im watching a plane fly by just over top of the other building (kinda close to the airport) i will take some pics tonight or tomorrow depending on when i get my camera back from my mom
This computer blows balls, its a pentium 1!! *cries* it works i guess, but barely... im gonna have to cut it down to 2 messengers so i think im sticking with aim and msn (theres only 2 gigs of space) Im sure most everyone has one of the two let me know if you dont
My ankle is killing me, On the 1st or 2nd i forget... i was walking down the stairs at my old apt and landed on my foot wrong, heard it pop and quickly popped it back in. So i sat down and yelled profanity for a whole... 2 minutes then had to go GRR. walked on it the whole day untill about 3 am when i finally was able to sit and look at it.... my ankle looked like a tenis ball!!! and was all purple ugh
so anyways, i havent seen the doc or anything still.. its kinda hurts and is still a bit swollen go figure.
Anyways pics and more of a update later when i have patience for this bloody comp :P |
